Would you like a dresser that turns into a vanity?

Hi everyone, I’m working on a furniture design idea and would like some honest feedback.

The concept is a white 6-drawer dresser that can also function as a vanity. The left top panel lifts up to reveal a mirror, with a glass surface underneath for makeup or daily items. The lower left section can be pulled out and used like a small seat/stool, while the right side remains as regular drawer storage.

I’m trying to understand whether this kind of multi-functional design would actually be useful in a bedroom or dressing area, or if people would prefer a simpler traditional dresser.

A few questions:

  1. Would you personally use a dresser with a hidden vanity mirror?
  2. Does the pull-out stool idea feel practical, or unnecessary?
  3. Would the glass surface under the mirror be a positive feature or a concern?
  4. Do you think the overall design looks clean and modern, or too bulky?
  5. What would you change to make it more useful?

Any honest opinions are welcome. I’m mainly trying to understand whether this design solves a real need or just adds extra complexity.
