When my robot has been sitting idle for some hours and I send it to do a clean, it just drives straight in backwards direction from the charging station. If I wouldn't stop it manually, by picking it up, it would even fall down my stairs.
If I then bring it back to the station and do a restart it performs everything correctly: it drives back a few centimeters, starts orientation process (circling) and everything works. Practically this means that everytime I want to use the robot I need to reset it, which is uncomfortable and I also can't send it to clean when I'm away from home.
