I just posted a couple days ago about my beautiful marquise ring, but I'm back asking for help again.
When I received the marquise ring I told him I had originally *thought* I wanted a pink diamond, but loved the ring he got me so much! I was saying it to express how pleasantly surprised I was with how much I loved my ring. FFWD to Yesterday, when I was surprised with a stunning pink diamond ring. It is so beautiful! He told me he wanted me to be sure about what ring I chose, so he bought me a pink diamond so I could decide between them. (Yes, I am so loved by this man!).
They are such different rings! My marquise is 7.5 carats, set in 18k yellow gold. The setting needs beefed up, of course. The other is a 5.34 carat fancy vivid pink diamond set in platinum.
Im afraid wearing my marquise has given me big ring blindness, as now the 5.3 carat seems "small" 😅
I dont know how to choose! The pink diamond is a modified brilliant cut, and the marquise is a standard brilliant, without the crushed ice look of the pink. I think i almost prefer the larger facets in the marquise. The pink color is so pretty though!
Thoughts?! What would you choose?
