Hi all, to make a long story short, I had a scammy tax preparer do my taxes in 2024. I suppose they set my AGI way higher than it really was. I did not receive a return for 2024, and instead had a freeze put on it. This past week, I got a notice that states I owe the IRS roughly $20,000. I did my research and submitted an amended return asap, as I could not reach the IRS over the weekend. Now, when I get into my account after amending the return it shows whats in the picture below. Is this a sign of relief? Or should i not get my hopes up. I tried calling but it is impossible to get a hold of a human. Anything helps. Thanks!
