I'm using voice dictation so my apologies if any words show up a bit weird. I have a td716 that I got a couple of months ago and looking to use it live with my band in quieter places where the acoustic drums are overpowering. So I'm looking at an on-stage monitor. People have talked about needing a 15-in or a 12-in speaker. I think a 15-in is just going to be a bit too much to carry around and deal with. So I'm thinking of a 12-in speaker and ElectroVoice actually is on sale at Tom Lee's this month. I believe they're ZLX 12-in series. Does anybody have any thoughts on using a 12-in monitor on stage for the electronic kit? How that works for me and for the band? Any other suggestions that you might have for making playing live successful.
