Hello all,

I have the opportunity to take a LGMF this coming year. Recent MPA graduate that does not currently live in NYC, did not graduate from a “top” program or a university in NY.

My partner lives in NYC, was going to move to NYC to get a job until get into public service in NYC. The fellowship would be on other side of the country for a year so just want it to be worth it or make the most of it.

Do you think the LGMF will help me secure a job in NYC post fellowship? Or do you have any advice to prepare for applying for positions in NYC and surrounding areas in a year?
