I have known Maria (fake name) for about 3 years now, at first I was in a relationship but we always had a vibe going from the first day we met.

Obviously I never pursued her while I was in a relationship. About a year ago I broke up with my ex, but since Maria was in a relationship at that time I didn't wanna try anything.

Now Maria has been out of her relationship for 3 weeks. She told me a week after her ex broke up with her. Since then we have been texting a little bit and we met once by chance and talked for a bit.

I'm 99% sure she's also interested in me but I don't wanna overstep before she's ready.

Do you think it is too early to atleast ask her to go drink something, not necessarily in a romantic way but just to further our contact?
