M5 pro fixed most of my problems I had with the ipad

Upgraded from a ipad mini 6th gen and am really impressed. My biggest gripe with the ipad was always its weight, just wasn’t comfortable for me to use. I am stunned by how light the ipad pro is. The screen is fantastic as well, and pro motion fixed all the issues I had with the ipad mini. I use a 32inch 4k woled for my main monitor and this is so much better for watching movies. If I had to guess its because it gets so much brighter and the lack of a semi-matte finish. I kind of picked this up on a whim and wish I would have gone to the store and compared the 13’’ to the 11’’. I have the 11’’ because like I said before, I hated how heavy the old versions were. With this refresh (m4, m5) I might have been happy with a 13’’ with the magic keyboard.

The speakers are great for tv,movie, or a podcast but I’m not a fan for listening to music through them. My echo dot max beats the pants off of it. I don’t know what I expected from apple but everyone always raves about how good the speakers are, I guess I can’t expect much better for how thin and light the m5 ipad pro is.

The magic keyboard is what really impressed me though. I use a m2 ipad air with a otterbox keyboard for work, and I find it to be janky as hell. The magic keyboard fixed every problem I had with the otterbox. Letting me have two free usb-c ports for my crucial ssd, so I can use it and charge is a game changer. Its killer, and I will probably even put my work email and teams on this and replace the air m2 they gave me. I really really hate using the m2 air lol.

This won’t replace my m2 mac mini or my gaming laptop at home, but I don’t think it was ever supposed to. I think the compromise that apple made with the ipados 26 update was amazing, and I don’t really feel as restrained as I have been by an ipad in the past.

I bought a apple pencil pro and it works, hopefully its a better experience than the ipad mini was. Given the size I image it will be.

Felt like carrying some decent budget knives today. Civivi paraxis and Kershaw cryo.

Selling a knife I picked up here on knife swap to get some monies for a pm2 15v.

I am the second owner and it has never been sharpened by me or the previous owner. It was carried once by the previous owner and never cut. I did not carry it and did not cut with it. Was on my desk for a couple days to flip with and then right back in the box. I do not notice any snails and the blade centering is great.

Comes with box, sticker, and lynch clip in right orientation. SV 250 PPG&S shipping to CONUS only.

Does anyone else have a problem with the right handed lynch clip dragging across the g10 scales when gripping? As far as I can tell I have the screws down fairly tight and it returns to position when I bend. It is really annoying for day to day use.

This is a Hogue Doug Ritter RSK mk1-g2 manual. I originally had a auto model which I cut the shit out of my finger with. This one is much more my speed, and has a buttery action. The ABLE lock is so easy to activate. Made me realize how stiff my manix 2 was.
