Recently moved to NYC from England and trying to plan my first Pride weekend here.

Looking for recommendations for good daytime parties, bars, rooftops or outdoor events across the weekend - especially Saturday daytime. Brooklyn or Manhattan both work since I’m based in Brooklyn.

I’m already considering Glitterbox/House of Yes/Tiki Disco on Sunday, but would love recommendations for other good events, areas to walk around, or bars that are especially fun during Pride weekend.

Also curious whether people think it’s better to buy tickets for specific parties or mostly just explore/bar hop around Bushwick, Williamsburg, the West Village or Hell’s Kitchen.

Anyone else notice they quietly took down the live performance version of “We Ride” with Ayana from YouTube? Feels a bit odd considering how much praise that performance was getting compared to Sakura’s version.

The comments on the live upload were overwhelmingly positive too, with a lot of people saying Ayana brought more emotion and stage presence to it. Makes me wonder if the comparison discourse got too loud and they decided it was easier to just remove it entirely rather than let people keep pitting them against each other.

Could be a copyright/licensing thing of course, but the timing feels suspicious. Curious if anyone managed to save it or knows if it’s been reuploaded somewhere else?
