Hello, so I am a current sophomore at Illinois State University (sophomore) who had transferred from my local community college. My community college gpa was great, for me at least, i had a 3.5 and was super proud of it. Furthermore, my time at ISU has not been great, both mentally and academically, due to poor advising from my advisors and an unfortunate spanish grade I received my first semester. My gpa tanked due to this one class. I came here to ask what gpa should I aim for before I potentially submit a transfer application into UIUCs sociology program? Also, I have an ISU gpa around a 2.5 currently. I do not know what this would even out to. Any amount of help or advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
