Bryan Tips
I started playing Bryan like 2 days ago and omg am I ass. I started at TGS and I’m at TE now, but he’s so much fun to play.
I struggle a lot against characters with nonstop pressure and they just keep pressing like Hwo, Anna, Nina, etc. I try to find gaps to CH lunch, but all the moves I try to use feel like they take 10 years to come out and then I’m the one getting CH. I mainly try using B1, F3, and 3+4 but honestly I have no clue what I’m doing.
I also struggle against characters with huge range like Jun and Clive. Neutral feels impossible sometimes. Right now my neutral is basically just 1,2 and df1.
Another issue is that I’m naturally more defensive, so when people turtle I have no idea how to open them up with Bryan. I feel like I have no gameplan at all and I’m just throwing random shit out hoping it works.
Also I’m a Kaz main so I ss ewgf a lot and it works, but with Bryan when I ss I just keep getting clipped not sure if it’s because he just has bad sidestepping or if it’s just a skill diff and I’m pressing to early.
Also at the wall when ever I try to taunt they get up with a ws move and I get cooked. How do I make them stop.
So yeah, if you couldn’t tell already, I’m straight dookie with him and sitting at like a 30% WR.
I’d appreciate literally any advice like which moves to use, how to play neutral, game plan, punishes and so on.
Thank you!!
TL;DR: New Bryan player struggling against pressure, range, neutral, and opening up turtles. I have no clue what Bryan’s actual gameplan is and need advice.
Also side note I HATE AK, bro tried to giant swing me, I orbital and he gets an air grab.
