Preschool at home with child with DS

Hi! I'm a homeschool mom thinking about starting a gentle preschool curriculum in the fall with my son who's 3 and has Down Syndrome and seeing where it takes us and adapting as we go.

I've crossposted but wanted to ask here as well if anyone has some preschool things or curriculum that they did that went particularly well with their child with DS? I'm not a mom that will find random ideas online and piece things together so plans help me. 😊 Just curious!

Preschool for child with Down Syndrome

Hi! With my two older kids, I did a gentle preschool curriculum that gave us a little to do each day. Busy Toddler with one, Peaceful Press with the other.

I'm thinking about starting something like that in the fall with my son who's 3 and has Down Syndrome and seeing where it takes us and adapting as we go.

But I was wondering if anyone has some preschool things or curriculum that they did that went particularly well with their child with disabilities.

Don't come for me for asking for a preschool curriculum. I just like guidance and ideas for a little bit of gentle, intentional time together. I'm not a mom that can or will whip together random things to do each day.

Last day of school rituals

I'm wondering if you have any favorite things you've done on last days of school.

We plan to "finish" this Friday and I'm looking for ideas! My 7 year old has ADHD and he has had an amazing year of so much growth and learning in school so I really want to celebrate!

Does it really help you lost weight faster if you stick closer to your weight loss zone?

The AI assistant told me today I'm consistently coming in under my weight loss zone, and said I might lose weight more quickly if I eat a little more protein and whole grains.

Has this been anyone's experience? I would say I'm not going to bed stuffed, but I also don't feel insanely hungry. I could eat a little more, but I'm also trying to eat mindfully and not too much.

Would love to hear your experience on this! I've been on Noom for 2 weeks and have lost 8 lbs. Trying to lose 15-20.
