I’ve been wondering whether it’s normal for your partner to frequently watch porn and masturbate to it. I’ve never actually brought this topic up to my partner before because I’m still trying to understand whether this is considered “normal” in relationships.
Part of me wonders whether it means your partner is not attractive enough or lacking something physically/emotionally. At the same time, I also know people may have different habits, needs, or views regarding porn, so I’m trying not to jump to conclusions.
I know watching porn/masturbating is generally considered normal, but I guess I’m wondering to what extent it is still considered “normal” when you’re in a relationship.
For the guys:
What does porn usually mean to you when you’re already in a relationship? Is it purely physical/habitual, or can it reflect dissatisfaction in the relationship?
For the ladies:
Would you be okay with your partner watching porn frequently? Would it bother you, or does it depend on the situation/frequency?
And generally:
At what point do you think it becomes unhealthy or disrespectful in a relationship?
Just genuinely trying to understand different perspectives before deciding how I feel about it.
