I recently binged all 4 seasons and the movie, and absolutely fell in love. It might just be my most favorite show of all time, and I’ve seen just about everything you can think of.
The murder mystery was thrilling, and always left me guessing. But what I think makes the show great, is the titular character you root for, and how she interacts with the people around her. She’s so feisty and cunning yet loving. I loved her.
The main love story is what really made me want to come back after the end of every season.
So basically, I want something with a good mystery, a protagonist you love, and a great love story.
I recently started Rizzoli and Isles. It’s good, but I don’t love it the same way. I watched The Flight attendant and loved it, but it’s so short.
I really hope I love another show as much as I love Veronica Mars
