A good touch friendly distro for a MS Surface Go 1st gen?

I have a gen1 MS Surface Go that I use as a tablet (no keyboard) frequently.
It has Win10. I do not want to use Windows anymore. But Win10's tablet mode worked VERY well (I don't want to even touch Win11, no thanks). I am not finding any good information online of a linux distro that functions that well in a tablet mode.

All the reddit posts and online articles I can find are pointing me just at 'distros that run on it' (using the keyboard and stuff) and not so much 'this is a very touch friendly/tablet version of Linux.' and/or ones meant for ARM tablets.

I did try a version of Fedora, and a version of Mint so far, and it works sort of.
No hibernation.
The touch screen keyboard seemed to fight me at times.
My digital pen can't use the secondary button for right clicking (that may be a setting I just couldn't find).
No pin login (I know I could set my password to basically a pin, but on the touchscreen keyboards I've had I have to switch to numbers, type the pin, and hit enter. On Win10 it would present a 10 key number pad and once you entered the pin it unlocked without needing to press enter).
Swiping is different if it's there at all.

Maybe I'm just being too picky? Or is there a version of linux that is a rockstar at touchscreen interfaces that I'm not finding?
