Best toaster oven air fryer combo that actually cooks evenly?

I’ve noticed most air fryer toaster oven advice online just turns into “get a Ninja or Breville and you’re good” but that doesn’t really explain what actually changes in day to day cooking between different models.

I’m looking for a multi use oven mainly for simple meals, reheating, air frying snacks, and basic baking. Kitchen space is limited, so replacing multiple appliances with one setup makes more sense for me.

The confusing part is how similar a lot of these units look on paper. Most of them claim air fry, toast, bake, broil, and roast functions, plus convection fans and multiple presets. But real use reviews seem mixed on whether they actually cook evenly or just do a bit of everything “okay”.

Some people say larger capacity models are more useful even for small kitchens, while others say compact ones heat faster and are easier to manage. Also not sure if digital controls really make a difference or if simple dials end up being more reliable long term.

Trying to figure out what actually feels practical for everyday cooking without ending up with something bulky, slow, or underperforming in air fry mode.

Been kind of annoyed with how most soap dispensers these days either overreact and keep pumping or just stop working after a few weeks. I’ve tried a cheap manual pump before and it gets messy fast especially in the kitchen when your hands are already dirty.

Looking now for a touchless one mainly for kitchen and bathroom use, nothing too fancy but something that doesn’t lag or randomly dispense too much soap. Preferably one that works well with regular liquid soap since I don’t really want to keep buying specific refills.

There are so many options like infrared sensor types, rechargeable ones, battery powered ones, and I honestly can’t tell which ones actually last longer or just look good at first then become annoying later.

If anyone has switched from manual to automatic, was it actually worth it or did it just end up being another thing on the counter that gets ignored after a while?

been thinking about getting a popcorn maker because microwave popcorn is getting kinda boring and sometimes too oily

looking at hot air poppers since they seem simpler, but I can’t tell if they actually give good results or just uneven popping

some people say they’re really fast and clean since no oil is needed, others say a lot of kernels don’t pop and it gets messy anyway

also not sure how loud they are or if they’re the type of thing that ends up being used a lot at first then forgotten later

not trying to overcomplicate it, just something easy for snacks at home without needing stovetop setup every time

for those who have one, do you still use it regularly or did it end up collecting dust?

Saw a few yogurt maker machines online and now I’m kinda tempted to try making my own instead of buying every time.

Main reason is just to control what goes in it, and also save a bit long term maybe, but I’m not sure if it’s actually convenient or just sounds good in theory.

Some of the machines look simple, others have timers, jars, all that stuff. not sure if those extra features even matter or just make it more complicated.

Also wondering about the whole process, like if it takes too long or needs constant checking, I might not keep up with it.
