Hi, I have a Dell vostro 14 3000 and today I wanted to work on it and managed to turn it on but after a few seconds it shut off and I couldn't turn it back on. I thought it had no battery so I tried using a similar charger but it didn't work, when I got home I plugged it in with it's usual charger and it managed to turn on. When it did, the screen had a message with something to do about the BIOS and the clock not being set correctly, it had the options to continue or do something about it but I just pressed on continue and now that screen won't come back. Now every time I unplug it, it shuts off immediately and won't turn back on unless plugged in. Is the battery dead? I assume this is the case because I would usually leave it plugged in even if I wasn't using it, so I guess I f'd up. However, when I check the BIOS it shows the battery is in excellent health, so I don't really know what's the issue. I imagine I must replace the battery, if that is the case, does anyone have any good videos on how to do that? The ones I find aren't my exact same laptop. Please help.
