Thinking out loud. Interested to see how everyone feels about this

Does anyone else feel the like the show sometimes assumes that people have read the book? Or that they glossed over a lot of things that should have been made clear earlier?

I kinda feel like they rushed the first few episodes to hook everyone, and completely ignored things that should be covered, like time-lines, and how Aunt Lydia got to where she is after Handmaids.

I may be wrong, and maybe some things will be addressed later on.

I feel like I am seeing a lot of confused questions here that are being answered, but the answers aren't coming from what we have seen so far.

Has anyone watched this show on Netflix being compared to Handmaid's?

Keep seeing this advertisement. It's for a show on Netflix called "The Unchosen" Has anyone watched it? Is it worth watching? Or are they just trying to capitalize on the popularity of Handmaids by comparing them?

Ad says if you like Handmaid's tale you will like this one.

I hope this allowed! I did read through the rules, also no tags seemed to fit.

I am happy to remove if not.
