Better Late Than Never - May 1977

I was out of town last week so I wasn’t able to join the in the 5/5-5/9 fun…but rolling through New Haven, Cornell, and Buffalo this week to make up for it. Need to get my hands on Boston Garden still, unfortunately I wasn’t around during that RSD. If anyone is looking to get rid of their box set dm me.

Anyway have a great week, perfect way to start mine.

Hey everyone, just had a random question if people remember how quickly some of the old box sets sold out? From what over seen Kill Em All, Ride, MOP and AJAF have been sold out to date. Does anyone remember how quickly that was?

I guess I’m surprised the Black Album set is still available at retail, I know they did 5,000 more pressings but I would’ve thought a large contingent would want that one.

Anyway just wondering bc I got a really good deal on both Black and Load because I waited and didn’t preorder. I’m probably going to do the same for Reload.

Hey everyone, I recently was purchasing a bootleg Metallica album (ultra rare tracks) on eBay and when the package came in there was an extra MOP vinyl included that I think might’ve been added by mistake? It’s an orange record and looks like it was made by Vertigo.

Does anyone have any information on this? When it was pressed? Is it valuable at all, or just another bootleg.

I’m going to spin it later today to see how it plays compared to my OG and Remaster.

Just got this bootleg recently and spinning it this morning! Really fun listen of a mix of live tracks and covers. After you’ve pretty much collected all the official releases you need to start digging for some of the bootlegs! Song list is in the 2nd photo if anyone is interested in what’s on it.
