I have an old Jeep Cherokee that needs a paint job. Looking to change the color and potentially do the sanding and body work myself. Found a great guy on staten island but he left.

Willing to go far and wide, anyone have anybody?

Fix this thing myself but painting (especially the metallic color I want) is not going to happen without practice. Going for a dark teal metallic like below. Jeep is currently Red

I have a 98 XJ with a ton of new parts, runs great and no check engine light. When driving on the highway, especially pushing into the highest gear, it accelerates slower and doesnt want to move into the higher gear until I push the gas harder and it gets a bit louder. Once I get it there it stays smooth but the transition is a bit off.

Is this the transmission?

I am looking at potentially buying a unicorn of a vintage truck from Lithuania. I would have to import it back to NYC. I am looking for advice/resources as I have absolutely no idea where to look. I live in NY and would have to either go there and get it or trust the process and use a service? I'm unsure.

Does anyone if this is a major headache? I imagine it would be, but unclear. Any advice is a great help.
