Getting a cover up for my first tattoo, and I’m super nervous
Hi guys! I got a tattoo in Skegness (big mistake, was with an apprentice who I didn’t book for anyway) on my 18th birthday, I was super super scared as I have a massive fear of needles so I did use numbing cream - and I think it made it worse as I was nervous wreck getting it done since I couldn’t feel it. I understand I’m a big wimp but I’m now getting it done over again with some more details either side from a local tattoo shop near me. I don’t know if to use numbing cream or not because like I said I’m a nervous wreck when it comes to tattoos, even standing in the shop gives me terrible anxiety.
It’s a little tattoo but I’m just trying to seek advice, my sister recommends numbing cream because I won’t be okay with the pain - but it freaks me out not being able to feel where the person is touching. Maybe I do a little numbing cream and not let it fully set? Looking for advice
