Baby Sprinkle or Baby Shower?
Some advice wouldbe great!
A little about the dynamic, we have 4 girls and thought we were done for good. To our surprise, we are not only expecting again, but we’ll finally complete out family with a baby boy!
The easy answer is sprinkle of course, but I thought the premise for it is “you already have kids so you already have everything” unless I’m wrong? So here’s why I’m overthinking lol…
My oldest is “not mine” biologically, then I had 1 babyshower, a covid baby, and then 1 get-together that couldn’t even be classified as a sprinkle really.
I have clothing, toys, shoes etc I’ve all passed down from my first girl that my fourth girl is now wearing. I’m very big on used, I save everything for the next one. Well, now I’m starting to panic lol. After 11 years, I’m switching entirely different genders, and most of everything I have is very pink, or worn out due to me reusing over and over again through 3-4 babies for, again, 11 years!
So, do I sprinkle and specify what I need? Or Do I go full-blown babyshower at that point? Do I just sprinkle and buy everything myself? That would honestly be difficult, as all we have that’s usable is a crib, monitor, boppy and pump. I guess that’s not anyone’s proble though?
I should note, we will be doing a registry regardless. I know some think it’s tacky to do with a sprinkle but my family will lose it if they don’t have a set list they can pick, order, or just gain inspiration from. Also, older/long distance family members prefer to buy & ship directly so therems that.
