I’m a recruiter at a small startup and we’re planning to hire a few engineers soon. We’re considering using CoderPad for technical interviews, but before committing, I want to understand how effective it is at maintaining interview integrity. Specifically, can it detect or prevent candidates from using overlay-based AI coding assistants like LockedIn, Final Round Interview, or Verve during the session? Also, will the interviewer be able to figure out if a candidate is taking help from those apps, and can the interview platform see or detect overlay windows on the candidate’s screen?

If you’ve used CoderPad as an interviewer or candidate, I’d appreciate direct, honest feedback on whether these tools are a real concern and how teams typically handle this.
