I’ve been looking into why so many "proven" fixes don't work for a lot of us, found this breakdown by Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy where he explains the physiological side effects of the common "quick fixes" we see recommended here.

https://youtu.be/ew-PgSvtZOQ?si=ta1tbxkzTkJ4YZfH

He covers why these methods often fail to provide long-term control:

  • The Spray Trap: Why delay sprays and condoms actually block the sensory signals your brain needs to learn timing, eventually making the body "forget" how to respond naturally.
  • SSRIs is an Antidepressant: Why using antidepressants for PME isn't treating a cause, but just artificially locking your nervous system's "brake pedal", often destroying libido and erection quality as a side effect.
  • Why Kegels can be harmful: Most of us have a over-tight pelvic floor. Adding standard Kegels to an already clenched muscle creates nerve irritation and actually speeds up ejaculation.
  • The Pill Cycle: How relying on Tadalafil/Sildenafil forces blood vessels open without fixing the brain's signals, leading to a physiological dependency where you need higher doses just to get the same result.

Note: This isn't a "how-to" guide, it’s a medical explanation of why solutions often lead to a "rebound effect" where the problem gets worse once you stop using them.

I’m working on CONTENT to map out the real root causes, like how our nervous system and pelvic floor actually drive these issues - so we can stop playing guessing games.

I want to make sure the content I’m building actually matters.

If you had a direct line to someone who has spent years digging into these patterns, what is the one question you’d ask to finally get some clarity? (Is it sensitivity, signaling, or something else entirely?).

Please drop them in the comments

Hi everyone,

We’ve been doing a lot of research recently into common physical habits that contribute to both Erectile Dysfunction (ED) and Premature Ejaculation (PME). One thing that keeps coming up is the "Death-Grip" habit, essentially, how many of us accidentally train our bodies to only respond to a level of pressure/speed that isn't sustainable during actual intercourse.

we made a short video breaking down why this happens from a physiological standpoint and how you can start to rewire that sensitivity. we wanted to share it here because I know how frustrating these issues can be, and understanding the "why" is usually the first step to fixing it.
