I’m looking for these Mooncat polishes:

Mooncat – Star Destroyer

Mooncat – A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Mooncat – Imperial Stormtrooper

I became a lacquerista only a few months ago, so I completely missed the Star Wars collection, but I loved the swatches I’ve seen online for these three polishes!

If anyone wants to sell them, I’m currently preparing to ship a parcel with a parcel forwarding company from the US, so I can receive them at a US address. I’m actually living in the EU, so EU shipping works too if that’s more convenient for you.

The photo contest is a fun idea, but the voting system feels so unfair. Players should not be able to see how many likes a photo entry has before voting, and we should not be able to vote directly from the trending page!

The current system makes popular entries get ridiculous amounts of votes just because they are already visible. We can basically see the winners a few hours after the voting phase opens. People who got there in the first hour will stay there until the end. Meanwhile, entries posted even a few hours later don’t stand a chance, no matter how beautiful they are! Once an entry gets early likes, it stays on trending and keeps getting more, while newer entries get nothing in comparison.

Also, letting players share entries with friends encourages spam, and it’s so annoying! It also gives an unfair advantage to people with huge active friend lists, like influencers.

Infold could have simply copied the contest basics from previous Nikki games. In Love Nikki, voting happens in a separate window where we get an endless stream of two random entries at a time, and we choose the one we like better. We also cannot see how many likes an entry has before voting, so it does not influence our judgment. After voting, we can see the number of likes and whether we voted for the unpopular/popular choice.

There is also a trending page with the top 20 entries on the server, but we obviously cannot vote on them. Infinity Nikki could have a trending page with more than 20 pictures so we can appreciate all the beautiful photos people posted. The most important part is to disable likes there.

There is also no option to send entries to friends, so players are not encouraged to spam everyone for votes.

A copy-paste for people to add to their 2.5 survey:

"How to make the photo contest voting better:

  1. Remove voting from the trending page. The current system gives a huge advantage to entries that become popular early, while newer entries barely get seen.
  2. Add a separate random voting window like in older Nikki games, where we could vote by choosing one entry from two random contestants at a time. Or something that would be similarly fair.
  3. Players should not be able to see like counts before voting. They should be shown only after voting for the entry, so as not to influence the voter.
  4. Remove the option to send contest entries to friends. It encourages spam and gives an unfair advantage to players with large active friend lists."

I’m a new lacquerista, started just a few months ago when I discovered ILNP – Flicker and with it, a world of indie polishes ❤️✨ I’ve bought around 40 bottles already and now love painting my nails every other day. I’m very excited about getting new polishes and always tell my boyfriend all about them. After a while, he also became interested, especially after he saw some of the Mooncat shades. He really loved Serpents of Eden, so I decided to give him a manicure 💅

It’s my first time doing nails for someone else, and his first time having his cuticles cleaned up, not even talking about painting nails with color. I love how it turned out 🐍💕

Polishes used:

Holo Taco – Peely Base (1 coat)

Mooncat – Serpents of Eden (2 coats)

Holo Taco – Glossy Taco (1 coat)

Photos 1–2: polish in natural light

Photos 3–4: bare nails after the manicure

Photos 4–5: polish in overhead light
