so after avoiding fm26 because of low ratings and content creator hate, i finally gave in and downloaded fm26 demo (cuz i was incredibly bored of fm24) and honestly this feels like a breath of fresh air

one of the complaints i heard was they have dumbed down the game, the Ul is not intuitive and laggy, but I don't see any of the issues (edited) i mean obviously the game isn't a spreadsheet simulator like the old ones but imo that's a good thing

everything clicks, traversing through the UI feels nice and smooth, yes it takes a while to learn where the old menus are like for example i was unable to find the staff responsibility menu, but I don't think it's an issue to be crying about, i mean i don't mind doing extra clicks if it keeps the Ul nice and tidy. and btw the Ul is definitely gorgeous. I do miss the news panels from the old game tho, the current one feels less like news because of the lack of images (idk?). Also a separate Tactics heading would be nice, finding the tactics panel was a pain in the ass at the start

I've played fm17, 20, 21, 23 and 24 and after a combined 1k hours, i feel like this is not as bad as everyone was making out to be online.. I'm tempted to buy the full version, but should i?

what do you guys think
