I began with symptoms in 2019, in late 2020/early 2021 dark red bloody stools and extreme pain. Had a colonoscopy with biopsies. Image was clear and no indications of IBD however biopsy showed inflammation. That was in 2021, in which I was referred and the doctor told me I had early crohns or colitis, and if symptoms persist or worsen to get back in contact with him to start medication. My symptoms went away for 5 years, life was normal, could eat everything that used to upset me. However, last week I came down with a UTI, but was also throwing up (it was not a kidney infection so I shouldn't have been throwing up) treated with antibiotics. After, severe abdominal cramps and going to the toilet 5x an hour. I am worried to death that I do in fact have this disease. I have period like abdominal pain which I particularly notice at night, feels inflamed. Ive researched and this also may be an explanation for my dandruff and dry eyes. Struggling to eat after being so ill and the pure anxiety that is going through me. I am 21 and my symptoms began at 15. Contacting doctor tomorrow when it is open. Has anyone else been in a similar position?
