Hey guys,
I’m coming up to a year of having the HSBC star alliance credit card. I’ve hit the gold renewal threshold and received confirmation from star alliance about the renewal of my status.
Does anyone know if I cancel the card before end of the year will I lose my status as well? Or does it stay until next year?

I’ve tried Frollo and excel. None of them feel quite right for what I actually want, which is basically:
• A clear view of what I owe across all my cards right now
• Visibility into what points/rewards I’m earning and where I’m leaving value on the table
• A heads up before an annual fee hits or a benefit expires
Frollo is useful but it’s a full budgeting tools. I just want card clarity, not a whole financial overhaul. The bank apps only show their own products. The spreadsheet requires me to actually update it (lol).
Is there something I’m missing? Or is everyone just making one of these work somehow?
