Anyone have any experience with EMDR therapy?

Specifically for those without memories of the trauma the therapy is targeting?

My son’s therapist at his school suggested looking into EMDR therapy as a way to work through social and behavioral issues related to trauma that occurred between age 0-2 so he has no recollection of it.
