My girlfriend broke up with me three days ago after our 4.5-year relationship and I don’t know how to understand it.
I thought our relationship had been going quite well recently besides a fight here and there. I went to my house for a week, and when I came back to her house she suddenly broke up with me. It seemed to come out of nowhere.
There is also the issue that we are still students. I live with her at her parents house and moving back to my house will be difficult because school will be far away.
I just want to talk to her and try to fix things, but she says she has made her decision and wants me to accept it because she doesn’t want us to end up hating each other. I just can’t understand how this happened.
One of the issues I know about is that she thinks I’m not confident enough but to throw away a 4.5-year relationship just because of that feels impossible to understand. I don’t know what to do. I guess I should try to move out as quickly as possible.
