I had wanted to watch Xena for a while now, it had just been on the back burner. I knew it had a very queer fanbase and was especially popular within the lesbian community. But I had never seen it until I decided to put it on the TV and watch with my wives.

A week later and I ordered the entire series on DVD. I'll come home from work and my wife will ask me, "Do you wanna cuddle and watch Peak?" And I know instantly she means Xena. I'm not going to go too far into my praise for this series since I'm sure y'all have heard some variation on my opinions before, but I am overjoyed at finding a fantasy series that ticks off all the right boxes for me. Xena doesn't take itself too seriously, yet perfectly balances dramatic, emotional scenes with over the top ridiculous stunts. It's what I want my DND games to feel like.

I've not finished the series yet, and I've skipped around a bit (Current late-Xena favs are "Been There, Done That", "You Are There" and "Old Ares Had a Farm") but now we are watching it in order start to finish.

We are a proud Xenite household.

The three of us keep giving each other looks when Xena or Gabrielle say anything that hints at their relationship ❤️

Not the most creative but I wanted to see my vision from last night realized. I was very high and randomly thought "There are transmascs out there who are definitely wizards"
