Hello! I want to start this off by saying I of course understand that no one is here presenting themselves as a medical professional and I would never take actual medical advice from Reddit. I just wanted to hear some people’s opinions on the connections I’ve been noticing between my whole slew of issues and pots. I’ve been thinking about talking to my doctor about looking into a diagnosis and I want to know if it’s worthwhile.

To make a long story short, I’m a very dizzy person. I always have been, but it started to get worse about four years ago. I was in class at the time, and I remember kneeling down to get something off of the floor and feeling lightheaded as I did so, which is something I still get regularly. I’ve always had low ish blood pressure. I’m not an un-fit person, but I get extremely winded going up stairs to the point that my head is throbbing with my heartbeat and I feel lightheaded. Like, I need to hold the railing otherwise I feel like I’m going to fall right over. It’s not uncommon for my heart rate to spike a good bit when going from sitting down to standing up, even if I feel fine when doing so. I’m also very heat sensitive. I’ve been diagnosed with chronic migraines, which manifest mostly in the form of dizziness. My results from the treatments I’ve tried have been sort of effective, but not much.

Oh, also, I recently noticed that when I’m standing for any prolonged length of time (especially in the shower) my feet will practically turn purple. Sitting down or elevating them will help this, and I do have a couple pairs of thin compression socks. They might work, but it might be placebo. I’m not sure, and I don’t want to self-diagnose with something I don’t have. Moreover, I am tired. All. Of. The. Time. It’s not that I don’t want to do things like go out, some days I just feel too exhausted to even do much beyond walk around the house. Sorry for the long ass post, I tend to over-explain lol. Any insight would be appreciated, and I’m happy to answer any questions :)

Hello all. The other day, I realized that the metal latch part of the washing machine at my house had broken. Who knows how that happened, but I was able to get it owned and ordered a new one. The brand is Electrolux, and it’s a front load. Anyways, now even with the new latch installed it still won’t fully close. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? Sorry if I used any of the wrong terms, I’m not very familiar with appliances—much less washing machines. Included is a picture of the old latch, the new one installed, as well as the door part of the lock (?) and what it looks like when partly closed. It doesn’t fall open on its own, but with any slight force applied it opens. Any help is appreciated!
