Haircare advice needed for going abroad and swimming with dyed hair
I am going to Egypt at the beginning of June and will be spending lots of time at the pool and on the beach so wanted to ask for some advice on how to best maintain my colour and keep my hair healthy whilst away. I wanted to ask about the follwing:
- I usually only wash my hair once every 3-4 days in lukewarm water as pink dye tends to fade a lot quicker. Should I stick to every 3-4 days on holiday or should I be washing with shampoo and conditioner everyday as I am going to be in chlorinated water? Or should I just rinse my hair with clean water everyday after swimming between washes?
- I am going to be keeping my hair tied up whilst in the water, is there any other precautions I should take before getting in the water and after, or any products I should be using?
- Any other general advice would be really appreciated
