AITA for poking fun at some of the company names while working in insurance?

I (30F) starting working for an insurance company almost a month and a half ago, today, I was asked to resign. Backstory: I was hired late March for a family owned/operated company. One of the things I was promised upon hiring was a raise from $18-$19 after my first month and training. I was immediately put into an office with the boss's wife, who's also HR and "training" me for my position, she doesn't usually come into work until an hour later than me. Pretty quickly I've realized that she really doesn't have the time to train me. So over the last six weeks I've figured out most of the job on my own and spend all eight hours a day doing very droll work, usually ten minutes before the workday ends , she finds time to give me training and holds me another 30-45 minutes. The other day while getting to actually work with her on stuff, I poked fun at some of the company names and the number of them that were simply named after the guy in charge, all very PG, just little jokes. At one point she said, "You know these are the people that give us our paychecks." Of course I apologized stopped after that. Anyway, yesterday at the end of the workday I felt the time was right to bring up my raise since I had been there for a month and a half and the agreement was for after my first month. She seemed taken back by the question and told me that she "had her reservations." One of them being my comments the other day, another being that when I was hired she wasn't exactly "prepared" for training someone for this position and lastly "I don't really know what you do all day." (????) I sit five feet away from her and it's fairly obvious what I'm doing...she told me that she'd sleep on it. I went home pretty frustrated, because I don't make much and it's not my fault that I might not be fully trained because she doesn't have time to train me. This morning when I came in, she said she'd given it some thought and basically just gave lot of excuses, time availability mostly, I offered maybe to just be part time since she only has limited time for me, also since being hired I've had an ectopic pregnancy, my grandfather went into memory/hospice care and my cousin passed away, (even though I've only taken one day off and that's when I was in the hospital). I guess those were her reasons for just asking me to resign instead of giving me a $1 raise or even trying for something part time. I guess I'm wondering if I'm the asshole for the "cheeky" comments and if it led to my "resignation."
