Hello! Me and my daughter have been researching for the last 18 months into axolotls and having one as a pet. However… the cycling element just confuses me and I know this is the first thing to get right before even bringing the axolotl home!

So we have a new tank, filled it up 10 days ago and added axosafe. We did the tests 2 days ago and it showed up the below which in my mind would be safe, but I know it takes 4-6 weeks! Today I notice the water looking a little cloudy, does this mean the start of the cycling is happening?

Any advice is welcome!
