I'm about to turn 20 and I guess it's just hit me that I've never been on a date. Not in high school, not in college.
I think I have all the basics: I'm 6'1 and 193 lbs with a 6-pack, I lift 6 days a week. I'm in college studying physics and philosophy in the honors program, have a perfect GPA and an internship at a name-brand company. I dress in clothes that fit, have good skin, a good haircut, and perfect hygiene. Outside of class, I'm part of a bouldering club and my college's debate team. I'm was also just elected as the president of my school's frat chapter (it's an engineering frat and my school doesn't have much of a frat culture, to be fair). I play the guitar and read in my free time, and I have a good group of both male and female friends. In high school I was a starter on varsity soccer and the captain of the debate team.
I've asked out maybe 30 girls in the past few years. My main issue is that I've never had a girl show any interest in me at all. They don't find reasons to talk to me, they don't sustain eye contact with me, they don't touch my arm, they don't text me first - nothing. My experience of talking to girls is that they can tell that I'm interested, and they're polite and nice but ultimately not interested. Even when I feel a genuine connection with a girl after the first few interactions, if I'm interested in them, they're always polite but not actually interested in me - but if I'm not interested in her, we become friends.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I don't get anxious at all when I'm around girls I like, and I'm pretty confident in general. I don't really have an 'agenda' when I'm talking to girls I like either.
