Hi everyone! I just started my first microdose of Tirzepatide on Tuesday (.5mg). I wanted to go on it because of all the great things I've read about it helping with inflammation, brain fog and pain due to the thyroid condition. I do however need to lose 30-35 pounds and I'm not going to lie about it, that I am looking for at the very least a subtle appetite suppressant. I want to take it slow, trying to prevent hair loss/ skin having time to shrink, and also because I don't know how it will affect my thyroid and may need to reduce meds.

On Tuesday I took .5mg and I felt mild to borderline moderate nausea as well as this jittery anxious feeling that I attribute to the b12 additive (I had bought one without but due to lack of supply I thought it wouldn't ship out until next week but I ended up getting it the day after on Wednesday). I have a few questions that I'm hoping someone can shed light on:

  1. If I don't really feel anything this first week can I try an extra .25 next week or .5? Is going up in these really small increments helpful or is it too subtle that it's not helpful. I know it is custom to stay on a dose for 4 weeks to see it's effects but I haven't really experienced anything. Still same hunger. But I also don't want any more nausea than what I experienced this time.

  2. Should I start using the original Tirz I ordered. Maybe it will be stronger and not give me that anxious feeling because of the b12? I don't know if it is because of that but I don't take B vitamins for this reason so I imagine this could potentially be an issue.

  3. How have you all felt it has affected any brain fog for you and for anyone on it for Hashimotos? Would love to hear how you've titrated and when you started to feel these changes in better cognition. If I could just have that I would take it over the weightloss. Because when I feel sharp, life is just easier. I'm sure you all know what I mean by this.

Thank you!
