While tightening down my Cooler Master Elite 360 AIO on an AM5 board, one of the AM5 screws sheared off inside the spring screw. The other three are fully tightened, but I can’t remove the broken one from the spring screw so both are kinda... screwed.
Before I do anything else, should I:
• check with Newegg to see if they’ll replace the mounting hardware (free or paid);
• buy the “PC accessory” protection plan first before asking (i see i can still buy it oddly enough);
• ask if anyone here has a spare AM5 screw/spring screw they can ship (I’ll reimburse); or,
• is running the AIO with only 3 screws temporarily safe enough?
Guessing I cant use the intel screws due to different pitch/etc?
