complaints of new apartment, next steps?
hi all recently moved here and was originally super stoked but that quickly changed. we moved in at the start of this month, washer and dryer was on our lease but was not present upon move in with no communication from the management company. they said they would create a ticket, but did not. i spent 9am-5pm the next day calling them just getting thrown around between people. eventually they told me a third party company would reach out to me to schedule installation for either the next day or the day after. I told them I couldn't do the day after or I would lose my job, they told me tough luck. I heard nothing so I went to their in person office just to find out it was just a mailing address. I called and asked for the leasing manager and he explained the issue and got it fixed. I also had a non-functional toilet for three days until they fixed the issue. A week later I sent them a doctors note stating that I need parking accommodations, I received no follow up email. Although I called and was told they saw it, but with no written proof. A few days later I spotted a live roach, I killed it and asked for pest control. They just sent maintenance out to patch the holes in the ceiling and around the baseboards. Fast forward to right now and I found another roach!! I notice that for them to do anything I have to call them and be passive aggressive, they won't do anything if I am nice to them or just email. I'm not from around here, what do I do? I'm feeling very uncomfortable with the situation.
