Worker stealing on deity

Do you guys usually steal workers from AI on Deity?

Before I would avoid it to lower chance of early war but now I try to do it every time if I can

AI workers are out turn 1 vs CS which gets them like at least turn 10-20

You can also get multiple workers immediately sometimes

I would say the biggest caveat is that you ideally do not wanna be doing this to your immediate neighbor unless you wanna kill them early

Even then it’s 50/50 if they actually war

Usually they take peace in like 10 turns and chill

Deity challenge idea: naval domination before renaissance. Share your strategy

just started thinking about this one since this is one of the deity rushes I’ve never done

Conditions would be like deity, small, archipelago or similar, legendary or strategic balance

No frigates / privateers

Options seem to be ottomans, Byzantine and Venice

im thinking best bet is Byzantine tbh tho the ottomans could def be used to snowball with their ship stealing abilities

I’ve tried rushing great galleas before tbh and found that they get a very short period before AI starts spawning frigates so not sure about that otherwise Venice + purchasing would be solid
