2019 Toyota Highlander

I have a 2019 Toyota Highlander (front-wheel drive) and I’m trying to figure out if what I’m experiencing is normal or if there may actually be an issue with the vehicle.

I’ve already had the alignment checked/done, so the vehicle is not out of alignment. However, the shop keeps telling me what I’m feeling is just because it’s FWD, but it still doesn’t feel right to me.

A couple of things I notice:
• When making some right turns, it almost feels like the vehicle is oversteering or pulling more than expected, even though I’m not turning aggressively.
• On wet roads, it sometimes feels like I’m losing traction or the front end feels unstable/slippery.
• What’s strange is that when I switch the drive mode to “Snow,” the issue seems to improve or completely go away.

Has anyone experienced something similar with a Highlander or another FWD SUV? Since alignment has already been ruled out, could this be related to tires, suspension, traction control, steering, or something else?
