Hello, my husband and I are planning to apply for our spouse visa at the end of May or the beginning of June. Our solicitors have asked me to submit my employer letter and supporting documents now, but I’ve read that these documents usually need to be dated within 28 days of the application. They’ve told me this won’t be an issue, but I’m feeling quite anxious about it.
We’ve had a bad experience in the past where we were scammed by a legal service, so I’m being extra cautious this time. From what I can see, these solicitors appear reputable, they have good reviews, have shown examples of previous work, and are regulated by the SRA etc but I just want some reassurance. I’ve tried looking on the government website, but it’s quite overwhelming and I’m struggling to find a clear answer.
Any guidance would be really appreciated. Thank you.
