Second opinions on current HRT dosage (MTF)
Hi everyone, late 20's MTF who has been on HRT for around three months. I've had a good experience with my clinic but just want to double check current dosages with you all and get second opinions, but I understand this isn't medical advice!
So they started me out on a low dose, I'm doing 2mg of an estradiol injection subQ once a week, and a daily 25 mg of spiro.
I recently had my three month check in and my numbers are already quite good, 145 pg/ml for estrogen and 10ng/dl for T. So my understanding is that both are comfortably in feminizing range (especially the T reduction).
But I fully expected (and was even looking forward to?) increasing the dosage just to really make sure feminization is kicking off. I do feel breast buds already, skin changes, emotional, etc. So as far as I can tell I'm lucky enough that my body is taking on estrogen super well and I don't need to go higher and risky any side effects?
Curious to hear what y'all think, especially for those who have had similar levels on a lower dose. Thanks so much <3
edIt: to clarify, the doctor recommended I stick with this dosage given the results.
