Hey everyone, I bought the WoW 10 Cherry Blossom on StockX about a month ago and I'm really struggling with the front
The first day was incredibly painful—my toes were screaming. It got a lot better after a couple of sessions, but yesterday the pain came back, though only after I had been playing for about 3 hours.
I previously tried a size 10. The length was a bit long, but my toes felt fine. However, the shoe was just too roomy overall and I was getting heel slip, so I didn't feel totally secure on the court. Now I have a size 9.5. Everything about the lockdown and overall fit is perfect, except my big toes hurt so bad. I literally got bruised/blue toenails on both of them
when my heel is locked all the way in the back of the shoe, my toes actually have enough space and feel really fine. But the moment my foot slides forward even a little bit, my toes start jamming into the front of the toe box and it hurts again.
I only play once a week, but my sessions are long (about 5 hours straight).
The weird thing is that the pain only happens after a long playing time, and sometimes it doesn't hurt at all.
Do I still need to keep breaking them in, or is this just a sign that the 9.5 is too small and this shoe doesn't work for my foot shape? Any advice on what I should do or change? Could this just be a lacing issue that's letting my heel slide forward?
