So I've had a Blue Yeti Mic from Best Buy for about 2 years and its probably been the best mic I've had except for the fact that I have a VERY loud brother and it is picking him up even better than it is picking me up. (I am naturally pretty quiet but even when I try to be louder it still seems that he is louder than me.) Does anyone have any recommendations, either on microphones that seriously reduce background noise or setup tips? I attached a picture of what is about eye level for me at my setup, I dont know if it just needs to be closer/on the desk or if there is a better mic for background noise reduction or both (I have it higher up because there is not much room on my desk to put it, I can make room if that would help ). Budget is not an issue but at the same time i don't really want a super expensive microphone either, something midrange would probably be best. This may be a really dumb question but I don't know much about the specifics of microphones and audio in general, and just want to be able to be on a call where my friends can hear me and I don't have to worry about them hearing him over me.
