Did my first kamikaze oled today. Done a few successful mods with the dat0 adapter but decided to go a step further today and do the kamikaze.

The kamikaze itself went good and without any problems. But trying to re solder the A point with the ribbon adapter wasn't having it, it just wouldn't sit right because of the size of my wires. I ended up blowing the resistor hence the blue one I've added in there. In the end I removed the blown resistor, adding a wire to the point where the flex normally goes and the other side followed the trace down and added another cable there where there was more space.

Has anyone else repaired this resistor like this before? Has it lasted?

Any ideas or tips for next time? I'd consider just not using the flex next time or get smaller enamel wire so the ribbon sits on there more flush.
