hi all! i'm thinking about applying to sdsu in the fall of 2026 and i'm really interested in the international business program. i've heard from some others that it isn't a good idea to major in it if you aren't fluent in the language, but i have always been really passionate about learning spanish (i'm honduran and was not taught the language when i was younger), and i think that ib would be a great way to learn the language and also focus on marketing. that's obviously not the only reason i'm interested in IB, hence why i'm hesitant to do a business major and spanish minor instead, but again i've heard that most people who major in ib already know the language, and i don't want to be extremely far behind compared to everyone else.
