I adopted 8 fancy female mice that the pet store I go to thought would sell and didn’t so I bought all of them and a few were pregnant. I got them about a week ago and she just had her baby’s. I have them in a 40 gallon breeder tanks with about 8 inches of bedding. Well a couple day into me owning my new mice one just dropped dead and had no signs of injury so I went to make sure no more had passed so while doing that I uncover the nest of the newborns and I FEEL LIKE SHIT ! I have never owned mice and know that handling the pups aren’t as bad as they say but I didn’t knock the bedding around the they were laying on the glass floor so I scooped them up and put the bedding under them. Did I ruin the mother bond ?
