The Forge Spirits are lesser daemonic entities, sparks of raw emotion given form—manifestations of the will of creation, the rhythm of the forge, the heat of the fire, and the music of hammers on the anvil. They are minor daemons of the daemon prince Xéravaros, the Elf smith of Vaul, once called Ymlatar, who was banished from Ulthuan after trapping the soul of one of his deceased friend into a sword to make him immortal.

They are crystallized from the passion, fury, and obsession of those who toil in the fires of the forges. These spirits embody the essence of craftsmanship and artistry, but also its dark, consuming nature, appearing as flickering flames, molten metal wisps, or spectral figures that whisper secrets of the craft to those who dare listen.
