Just wanted to Show Off my First Set of rat ogors, got back into the Hobby and wanted to start with something fresh After a a few years break. Decided to get rid of old grey Plastik and start the army I had a Passion for since my time with the gotrek and Felix Books ages ago.

Test 1 and 2
I tried doing a molten metal (novice painter maybe 8 months) Was super unhappy with the red metal look. Wasn't vibing with the model esthetically. Poorly done.
Slept on it. Did a warp fire glow real fast the next day.... while I like it and will ultimately roll with something similar in the future. I need help improving the technique
In my defense there was a lot of paint on the barrels before the warpglow. Strippinh probably would save me some detail. I used red, mixed an orange and a darker yellow for the molten red (my paint kit is limited I mix for what I need)
I painted over it all white the next day. Did a dark green contrast with a watered down yellow green to a neon yellow. Frosted the tip with a dry brush white and more neon yellow. In haste, had Easter brunch to attend. So I know some coats were a tad tacky.
Can anyone share your warpglow/molten metal techniques that may help me?
